Welcome to the Workshop, Scrapyardz's primary centre of research and development.
For demonstrations of science, please visit our labs in the Experiments division. For general information and studies on Petz, you may look through our database of files in the Documentation and Research branches.
Experiments
The Pet Enhancement sector of the facility. These labs are a sandbox for interesting and dubiously ethical tests to subject petz to, to hopefully further our understanding of Petz' inner workings.
Each file will contain full documentation of the methods used. Feel free to replicate and improve upon these procedures as you see fit.
Offspring Modification
- Litter Swapping, transplanting unborn kittens from one mother to another.
- Gene Swapping, creating petz that produce purebred kittens of other breeds or species.
Documentation
Polished studies that have enough data to be considered significant. Files will only be moved to this area once they are fully organised and deemed credible, though they may still be updated with new information.

Research
Rough or ongoing studies that require more data. Stored files may be unfocused or disorganised, and require rewriting before moving to Documentation.
Individual case studies may be stored here as well, if there is no fitting file to sort them into.
Personality Inheritance
A study on how kittens inherit personality values from their parents. Includes a brief section about editing an unborn kitten's genes.
Currently requires more kittens for study, all probability values are approximate.
